Meet Frank Debets 

Frank Debets Frank is the Managing Partner of our Customs and International Trade practice in Asia, based in Singapore.  He is the project and client relationship manager for some of the largest Customs and International Trade clients, both globally and in the Asia-Pacific region.  On top of his managing and coordinating role, Frank advises companies on all aspects of the cross border movement of products, from a tax regulatory as well as logistics perspective.

Frank has worked with many major multinationals to analyse and improve their trade risk management profile and maximise benefits from trade regulatory opportunities.  His background is in supply chain management and he combines in his customs and trade work with logistical considerations as well as tax and transfer pricing regulations.  His focus is on valuation, preferential trading rules and export controls.

Frank is the editor of our bimonthly "Trade Intelligence - Asia" publication.  He chairs the Supply Chain Management Committee of Singapore’s AmCham, the Regional Trade Committee of EuroCham, is an invited member of the Customs Advisory Committee and an Free Trade Agreement Advisor for International Enterprise Singapore.

Before transferring to the Asia-Pacific region in 1999, Frank worked in PwC's London office for six years, and as a Research Associate at INSEAD business school in Fontainebleau.

Frank received a Masters Degree in Econometrics (Operations Management) from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Netherlands, as well as a diploma in Systems Analysis from Hull University, United Kingdom.  He is a member of the UK Institute of Export.
