Cost reduction strategies
- Enhanced project by-laws scheme ("EPBS") - Utilizing the Department of Innovation's EPBS, applicants in qualified industries can import machinery, equipment and components for projects duty free, providing project eligibility requirements are met. EPBS can provide significant savings on duty paid for imports related to large capital works projects that have a capex of over $10 million.

- Ensuring that your business is not overpaying customs duty on imports is important to the bottom line. Is your business taking advantage of all available duty reduction mechanisms?
